Network Infrastructure Manager

Location: Remote (Occasional travel up to 25% annually). Preference given to candidates in the DFW, Dallas, Texas area.

About the Role We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Network Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level network systems. This role requires a strong leader with deep expertise in network engineering, Windows system administration, and VoIP, with a focus on both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and manage secure and scalable network and VoIP infrastructure.
  • Lead network projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and patching.
  • Monitor and optimize network and call quality performance to ensure high standards.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for audit readiness and transparency.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and resolve complex network-related issues.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Networking: IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, VPN, SD-WAN.
  • VoIP: SIP trunking, QoS, MOS scoring, jitter/latency analysis.
  • Windows Administration: Active Directory, Group Policy, NPS, Radius, PowerShell.
  • Tools & Platforms: SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Cisco ASDM, Meraki, VMware vSphere, Azure VNETs.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • A strong understanding of network security and compliance.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future. All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • CCNA or CCNP certification (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in healthcare IT or other regulated environments.
